This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it and how you can manage your information.

careeria is a single service that will analyse your CV against the current job market and either recommend areas for improvement or confirms that your CV matches the requirements for that career. There is no need to create an account with careeria and no personally identifiable information or any identifiers for you are stored.
As you use the careeria service, we want you to be clear on the type of data that is collected.
Once your CV is uploaded, it is sent to a Google Cloud AI & Machine Learning Product to extract text and once completed, your CV is discarded. Please review the Google Cloud AI & Machine Learning Product FAQ for more information.
The text retrieved is analysed against market data to generate a score and a list of matching/missing data points. This data is then displayed in the application for you to review. The text that was analysed is used to help train the AI model but is discarded once it has been used.
Information we collect as you use our service.
We collect generic analytical data as to the usage of the application to help us improve the User Interface and User Experience. Your careeria results are also used to understand market trends in order for us to develop new features within the application. For instance, we may notice a trend where specific key skill are being requested on job descriptions but it is missing from careeria results. In those instances, we may find and promote training courses proactively.
Communicating with you.
careeria will send mobile app notifications when it finds relevant jobs that you score high on. These notifications can be switched off via your mobile phone settings. We also collect email addresses on our website to use for marketing the application, which can be opted out of by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.
Technical Notes.
Our service uses the Datamuse API to help us understand the context of words being evaluated by our Artificial Intelligence.
Changes to this policy.
We will change this Privacy Policy from time to time as our application evolves. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We always indicate the date the last changes were published and we offer access to archived versions for you to review. If changes are significant, we’ll provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of Privacy Policy changes).
